Tevico is a cloud governance platform for your AWS cloud. With Tevico, you get guidance with respect to Cloud financial management, security management, inventory management and many more things which are crucial for your AWS governance. Additionally, Tevco has automation features which allow you to automate your cloud management workflows.

Cloud governance refers to the set of policies, procedures, and controls that organisations establish to manage and regulate their cloud computing environment effectively. It’s a crucial aspect of cloud management that ensures the responsible and compliant use of cloud resources while optimising costs, security, and performance.

Effective cloud governance helps organisations maintain control over their cloud environment, minimise security vulnerabilities, prevent excessive costs, and ensure compliance with regulations. It’s especially important as organisations scale up their cloud usage and need to balance agility with responsible management.

You certainly get a lot of dahabords from AWS and they are very useful in managing your AWS account. However, there is a lot more data which is still untapped by these dashboards. A large part of this data is stored in S3 buckets like AWS Cost & Usage Report (CUR) or tapped in data sources like AWS Security Hub. If analysed carefully, this data case gives you numerous actionable insights on Cost, Security, Reliability, Performance, Operational Excellence and Sustainability. Tevico strives to bring out these actionable insights for better cloud governance.

Large part of the insights comes from the data collected in S3 buckets like Cost and Usage Report (CUR) or data sources already provided by AWS like Security Hub. The cost of which should not be significant.

However, the cost of services contributing data (which gets stored on S3 or sourced to SecurityHub) may vary depending on the configuration of those services. Tevico does not influence these configurations.

For example, a case in point is AWS Config service. Tevico advises activation of SecurityHub to tap the data which in turn uses AWS Config to collect the data. However, activation of SecurityHub and AWS config rules is done by the user through the AWS console. Tevico does not have code to activate any service or related configurations.

Tevico insights are based on the metadata of AWS cloud. In no scenario, Tevico can access your data in the cloud. Tevico is safe for the regulatory setups.

For example, Tevico can tell you how many EBS volumes are unused and how much money is getting wasted in paying for unused storage. Because this information can be derived from the metadata of your AWS account. However, Tevico can never access data stored on your EBS volumes. You can extend this analogy to any other AWS service.

Tevico does not have any insights on your code.  Tevico insights are based on the metadata of AWS cloud. In no scenario, Tevico can access your code. With Tevico, there is no threat to your intellectual property (IP).
