The client is an AI-driven video telematics startup focused on improving driver safety and fleet performance through intelligent real-time insights. Their flagship solution, RideView, combines edge-based video analytics with cloud-driven intelligence to help Telematics Service Providers (TSPs), OEMs, and fleet operators strengthen driver behavior insights, reduce accidents, and optimize fleet operations.
Operating across North America, Latin America, the Middle East, Australia, South Africa, and India, the organization serves a global customer base and continues to scale rapidly. With a team size of 51–200 employees, the company falls under the Startup segment and requires a reliable, secure, and compliant cloud infrastructure to support its high-growth model.

As the AI telematics provider expanded globally, the complexity of managing security and compliance across its AWS environment increased significantly. The team needed deeper security visibility and continuous compliance monitoring, but lacked a unified view across AWS services. This fragmentation led to slow response times, higher manual effort, and inconsistent audit readiness across GDPR, SOC 2, and other frameworks. Tracking posture changes over time was difficult, and there was no efficient mechanism to validate architectural gaps against WAFR guidelines. These gaps resulted in prolonged exposure to high-severity risks, operational inefficiencies, and the absence of a standardized approach to identify and prioritize improvements.
Tevico was deployed to address the AI telematics provider’s need for security visibility, continuous compliance, and operational monitoring.
Key elements of the solution included:
Tevico unified data from Security Hub, GuardDuty, Config, SSM, and cost tools into a single dashboard, enabling severity-based prioritization, historical trend analysis, and faster detection of critical risks.
These assessments consolidated findings across accounts into structured categories, helping the AI telematics provider understand posture trends, failed controls, and resource-level details without navigating multiple AWS services.
Compliance tracking was enabled across 22 frameworks, including GDPR and SOC 2. Tevico’s compliance engine continuously evaluated controls, displayed pass/fail counts, and provided export-ready audit reports.
Custom WAFR Blueprints helped the AI telematics provider validate architectural choices without performing a full Well-Architected Review. Each Blueprint highlighted risks across pillars such as Security, Reliability, and Cost Optimization, and supported prioritization of improvements.
After the AI telematics provider identified alerting as a priority, automated Slack-based GuardDuty notifications were implemented. Alerts included severity, affected resources, timestamps, updated status, and a remediation link.
Tevico connected to the AI telematics provider’s accounts using IAM roles, eliminating agents and reducing maintenance. Data remained in their environment, and Tevico securely pulled findings, CUR metadata, and S3 exports on demand.
Unified dashboards, severity-based grouping, and Slack-based GuardDuty alerts reduced response time by giving engineers instant visibility into critical findings.
Continuous evaluations and reporting enhanced compliance pass rates across GDPR, SOC 2, and other frameworks, with historical trends and audit-ready reports strengthening governance.
Tevico automated evaluations, aggregation, reporting, and real-time alerting, significantly reducing manual monitoring across multiple AWS consoles.
WAFR Blueprints identified architectural gaps early and guided best-practice–aligned improvements, enabling a predictable, secure, and scalable cloud posture as the AI telematics provider expands globally.
